Its time once again
How has everyone been. Sorry this is going to be rather short and pretty boring. Just wanted to give everyone an update. I am doing much better now. I would like to thank all the people who have called and texted me during this time. Its a hard adjustment being without Amy. People ask me all the time "Are you happier like this?" Honestly, I dont know. There are times when it is nice to only have to worry about yourself. But there are other times where I miss her soothing smile and kiss. Whenever I would get down she was always there to pick me up and let me know that everything was going to be alright. So in that sense its really hard. But like I said before, it was not fair for me to keep her around as i am going thru this midlife crisis gimmick so early in my life. But then again I dont really expect to live past 50, so I guess this would be considered "midlife". Wrestling has been going good lately. I am slowly rededicating myself to it and to the gym. If any of you have seen me wrestle lately you notice I am wearing the singlet again instead of the trunks. I am holding a little bit more weight than i want to be right now. Try about 20lbs. I expect that to be stripped off by mid december intime for the EWE show. My last match was FPWA last saturday, where many of the boys seemed to get shorted on pay. I honestly cant complain because I got what I asked for, but as for the others....If I opened my envelope and saw what they saw, I would have been going to jail for manslaughter.... Thank god they were able to straigten that out with the promoter. I do have to agree with an entry Erick Stevens wrote about the show...there were way too many guys that are not any good and dont belong on shows working that show. It sucks that so many guys who dont have an ounce of athletisism in their blood try to wrestle. You have to be an athlete to make it in this business. Too many FUCKING COMIC BOOK DORKS try to get into this business, and that is why the indies have a bad name. ATTN: COMIC BOOK DORKS...... PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO ENTER THE WRESTLING RING, JUST BE A PAYING FAN AND ENJOY WHAT YOU SEE. WHEN YOU COME IN THE RING NOT ONLY ARE YOU EMBARASSING YOURSELF, YOU ARE EMBARASSING THE BUSINESS. IF I GET IN THE RING WITH YOU, I GUARANTEE YOU WILL NEVER "WORK" (IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL IT) AGAIN. I AM A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL, YOU ARE NOT!!! Enough of that Rant....(thanks for getting me started Erick) Anyway, at that show I worked Andy Douglas of TNA fame. Cool guy, really fucking crisp in the ring. This guy doesnt get enough opportunity to show what he can do in TNA ( but neither does anyone else due to time restraints). The dude can fucking go. I enjoyed the match very much. It was a lot of fun and I though was better than the first two times I worked him ( tna dark matches w/ Rod vs He and Chase). Upcoming shows next weekend Dec 2nd and 3rd for Pro Wrestling Warfare. One match Vs Donovan Morgan. Seen him work a few times back in the days of IPW when I was just a mark wanting to break into wrestling. They guy was good back then...that was 6 years ago, so I can only imagine with all his experience how good he is now. Looking forward to it, as it should be fun. Then Saturday its me and my brother Rod vs Erick Stevens and SEdrick strong. I love this matchup, as I have great Chemistry with all men involved in the match. Erick and I tear it up everytime, as do Sedrick and I, so this one should be a helluva match and loads of fun to watch. Wanted to give a quick congrats out to my boy Antonio Banks for getting signed to the WWE. This is one guy who EARNED his spot. He didnt get in because he KNEW people.. this guy got in because he worked for it. When he and I worked the Smackdown tapings in Tampa back in January, we were backstage and he went right up to Johnny Ace and said "can i have a moment of your time". Johnny blew him off, but Banks was persistent, and finally Johnny gave him about 5 minutes. Banks pretty much told him he wanted a job, and asked what he had to do to get one. Johnny told him what he should do, and Banks worked on that for 8 straight months, then at the next taping, he got his shot and was signed. I just cant say enough about what he did. I totally admire him for having the balls to ask the man right under Vince how he could get a job. I am a very outgoing person, and have to do many presentations for my real job, so public speaking is easy for me...BUT...I dont think I would ever have the nuts to do this. I am not sure if he wanted anyone to know that story..BUT i think its appropriate because like I said the guy did what he had to do to get a job. Now, the guy is going to be a STAR....Just wait.... I hope all of you have a great holiday. Thanksgiving is great, because I like to eat.....dont we all?? Not really much else to say, other than that new Nelly song "GRILLZ" is fucking HORRIBLE!!! But I cant seem to get it outta my head. ITs like a verbal trainwreck that I cant help but listen to. Do I like it...I guess so. Its like a shit-show wrestling match, its so bad, it good. Bucs will make it 8-3 and become the top team in the NFC this weekend with what I predict to be a 12-6 victory over Chicago. YEs 4 field goals to 2. The bucs D will eat up Kyle Orton, like they did JP Losman earlier this year. And the Chicago D will rattle Chris Simms I am sure as well. Florida State will edge out Florida 34-28 in the Swamp tommmorow.. And then go on to defeat Miami in the ACC championship. Yes, Florida State is not as good as they should be this year...BUT... they win when they have to, and that is all that counts. Well i guess this wasnt as short as I thought. Anybody want to hang out, give me a shout this weekend. Current Mood: calm | | Tuesday, November 15th, 2005 | | 2:45 pm |
Amy Love.....I WILL miss you!!!!
As I have previously mentioned I have been going thru some hard times as of late. I have been fighting many personal issues that have come about recently. Just to give you a little background, I just had a birthday October 14, and I swore by the age I was now that I would have many goals accomplished. I have attained some of the goals I set, but havent attained the most important one, and that is making it in wrestling. It's very frustrating to watch wrestling day in and day out and see what a "good ole boy" network it truely is. I have never been one to kiss ass. I have never tried to be anyone's "boy". I just try to be me and that is it. Due to not attaining this goal, I have gone into a serious depression that has torn my life apart. I have been very self destructive, lost focus on working out, and truly given up on the things that were most important to me. I have lost touch with some of my closest friends over this, and pretty much stay secluded from everyone for the most part. If I havent talked to you or returned your phonecalls recently (and there is a lot of you out there) I am truly sorry. Why would someone want to talk about falling into a deep depression you ask??? Because its a disease, its the reason my grandfather took his own life with a 22 caliber handgun some 20 yrs ago. Its something both my mother and father have gone thru, and its something that I am gonna BEAT. My depression and moods has caused me to lose a lot of friends in the past, it caused me to lose a wife who really and truly was a great person, no matter how much i have put her down in the past. And it has also caused me to lose the love of my life, the greatest and most amazing person I have ever met, that person is Amy Elizabeth Jefferson, you all know her as Amy Love. So this is to you Amy: We have had so many great times. I remember the first time we met, your smile, your laugh, the way you carried yourself. You were the most attractive woman I had ever laid my eyes on. The connection we had from the very beginning was so amazing. As was the friendship that we shared. I told you all my problems I was having in my marriage, you listened, you gave me good advice. You told me when I was being an asshole...You were truly my BEST FRIEND. Then came the divorce from my Ex, you were there for me...as a friend. It was always like that. Nobody knew how close we actually were. Even though we lived two hours apart and talked on occassion, we were still very close thru the mental connection we had. We then turned that connection into a romance, and that is the reason that it worked so well. Thru the past two years and two months you have been nothing short of the best woman any man can have. We had so many good times. From the first time taking you to Howl-O-Scream, and you getting the shit scared out of you the whole time, to me meeting your family, and welcoming me with open arms. They are beautiful just like you. Through these 2 years, you were the one that motivated me, you were the one that believed in me most. WE did this all TOGETHER. You made me a much better person, I made you a much better person, we were the couple that everyone looked up to, and that everyone envied because they couldnt be like us. We were a great team. Then, in late July of this year, I proposed to you.....Because I KNEW I wanted to be with you for life. Since then my life has had many ups and downs. I have put you thru so much from me being freaked out about everything, from me getting older, and from the wrestling thing not working. Just when i thought I was gonna get a deal, it was taken all away just like that. I took that stress out on you, mentally. It wasnt your fault... I have to let you go... The self destructive person I have become is not fair to you. I have not been giving you the attention you deserve, and have just not been the best person to be around. I want to let you go so you can find someone that will make you happy.. Someone that is not nearly as unstable as i am. I need some "Bruce Time:" to find myself and figure out what the fuck is going on in my life. You are the sweetest and most caring person I have ever met. We spent our final time together this weekend. We attended the Bucs game. I have been to well over 100 Bucs games in my life, and even though we were going thru heartache of the breakup, it was one of the most memorable games ever. Just being there with you, cherishing our last moments together. It just so happens the game on the field was the best live football game I have ever seen as well. I would compare that game to our relationship, exciting, and action packed until the final seconds. That Buccaneers/ Redskins game symbolized our whole relationship. There was never a dull moment. There were never really any mistakes, it was a shoot-out, a classic, and was something you could not turn your head away from. Was it a sign that you WON tickets to that game??? Who knows. As retarded as it sounds, that game symbolizes the last 26 months we have been together. Amy Elizabeth Jefferson...... You will always be my best friend..... And maybe one day, I can get my shit together and be the man that you deserve, and if that day ever comes, you will get back your "old Bruce". I love you always and forever.......... What the fuck is it?
Man, this has just been a crazy week. First my uncle passes away (the day after my grandmother's birthday and the day before my mother's Birthday), then one of my closest friends Sedrick's grandfather passes on. Its sad. My condolences go out to him and his family. He told me he knew this was coming, but wanted to make it up to Michigan one last time to visit his grandfather before he passed on. Unfortunately, he didnt get a chance to do it. They say bad things happen in 3's, I am just hoping it doesnt get any worse. I am taking my uncle's passing pretty well, as he was a heavy drinker and smoker. The Dr's said he had been suffering from Heart Diesease for awhile, and had even suffered what appeared to be a minor heart attack previously, without even knowing it. He hadnt been to the doctor in several years. Now I wish he would have gone, but life must go on. Always remember to keep in touch with your family.....You never know when your or their time is coming. I leave you with this....... Rest In Peace David Brown My uncle passed away yesterday from a Heart Attack. This is the first of my immediate family that has passed on since I was 5 yrs old. Kind of weird. I seem to handle death better than others. I dont believe in God or afterlife, so I hope that he lived a fulfuilled life. Current Mood: numb | | Monday, September 19th, 2005 | | 6:15 am |
IPW Show, Floirda State Seminoles, Attending the Bucs game....and more
This weekend was very busy to say the least. If you read an entry I had up here for a "short" time on Friday morining you would see that it all started in a "haze". Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to remove that post, but I am sure Sedrick will be able to list an accurate account of what transpired on Thursday nite very soon. Saturday was the IPW show. It was a lot of fun. Very nice to see many of the people we have not seen in a long time. It was a pleasure working against Lex, Sully, and Buck one last time for the promotion that help put all of us on the map. The match was decent I thought, could have been better, but good enough. Finish saw Lex hit me with a Lexbuster, immediately followed by a Buck Q second rope legdrop and pinfall. Lex was then eliminated, and sullivan defeated Buck. All in all the show was fun. Hawk from Tough Enough 2 is BY FAR the WORST PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER EVER!!! Thank you Billy 5's for choking him out. It was great to see. Florida State also showed some poise Saturday nite, defeating a strong Boston College team. Drew Weatherford is coming into his own, and the scary thing is, this guy will be around another 3 yrs (hopefully). Sunday headed to the Bucs game with Amy. I was able to get tickets to single season games this year because I am on the season ticket waiting list. Since the tickets are so goddamn expensive, I chose this as the game to go to. I wanted to see us win the home opener, and I also figured that we would beat Minnesota the week before this game, so it would be a chance to see the Bucs start off 2-0. Man was I right. This was a tremendous game to see live. We were on the second level, in the corner of the endzone right next to the pirate ship. Seats were really good. Amy had never been to a regular season football game, so this was very exciting for her as well. I have FULLY CONVERTED her from a Texans fan to a Bucs fan. She can pretty much tell you more about the team then most of the bandwagon fans in this town. She is always asking questions about the history, and can tell you the complete line-up on both sides of the ball (except the o-line, still working on that). They came out and put it on JP Losman, who is the football equivalent to Tough Enough Hawk in wrestling. This guy has no business being an NFL Quarterback. I have never seen a guy so scared in his life. Some of the throws he made were ridiculous. I couldnt wait for him to get back on the field so that our Defense could kill him. There were at least 4 dropped interceptions. One on the very first drive by Derrick Brooks where there was nothing but the open field and end zone ahead of him. I only almost got into one fight at the game (I have previously been ejected from games for fighting with drunken fans of the other team that attacked my dad). The guy was all decked out in Bucs gear, but was SHITTING on everything the Bucs were doing. Its obvious this guy had no business being at a football game, because he has neither a clue nor concept of football. He was saying stuff like "Greise is the worst Quarterback ever". "Why are we throwing the ball". "Oh that's great Greise, call a timeout..you Suck!" Finally I turned around to the guy and said "Shut the FUCK UP, OR I will kill you". The guy is like "I am just trying to have a good time man". His friend was like (to me) "Please calm down man". Then, not another negative word from them the rest of the game. I am one for having fun, but there is nothing I hate more than a BANDWAGON FAN, who shits on everything the bucs do. If this guy had any clue about football, he would know that Greise is a GREAT quarterback. He never panics, and takes control of the offense. He is also a very accurate passer. I am really high on him and think he is the best QB we have had since Craig Erickson. Carnell Williams (Cadillac) is the real deal. This man is the best running back the bucs have EVER had. We have never had a RB that could make cuts, and drive thru people like he does. And he was playing on a sprained foot the second half and still tore thru the defense. He will make you miss, or run you the fuck over!.. My 10-6 prediction isnt looking so bad right about now. With upcoming games against the Packers, Lions, Jets, and Dolphins, there is NO REASON this team cannot start off 6-0. I am definitely on a high from this weekend (not the same kind of high as I was on Friday). It was a great time to be alive, and a great time for football. That's it for now Current Mood: hyper | | Saturday, September 10th, 2005 | | 5:05 pm |
I know its early in the season...BUT
Charlie Weiss' Offense VS Mickey Andrews Defense. Notre Dame VS Florida State. Seriously, Notre Dame looked fucking tremendous today. I'm not an Irish fan, but you got to respect the ASS-RAPING they gave to Michigan, the number 3 team in the country, With that said, if Drew Weatherford comes around for the Noles (I know he will, he has all the tools), all this talk of the BCS title game being USC and Louisville will turn to Florida State and the Irish. I would love to see this matchup. I will be updating with NFL predictions for tommorows games later..... Feel free to leave yours as well. I FUCKING LOVE FOOTBALL!!!!! | | Friday, September 9th, 2005 | | 7:01 am |
Seriously though...........
I think I should be a Morning Radio DJ. I know how to stir people up and start debates. People say I am very opinionated and outspoken, therefore I think that is my calling. My political views are obviously conservative, however when it comes to life in general I am very liberal, so I can see both sides of any situation, but will be glad to argue for the side I agree with more. I am one of those people in life that you either LOVE or you HATE. There is no "IN BETWEEN" with me. Knowing me, I would probably get fined by the FCC everyday, and end up being pulled off the air for offending people within a month, but I guarantee you for that month I would build and end up being the highest rated morning show in my immediate area. *I saw the NFL Kickoff concert last night, and when Kanye West came out to sing with Maroon 5, I had to change the station. What a fucking dickface! *When you get old like me (25), dont try to max out on Bench Press, you will just end up hurting yourself and in the end it is not worth it. *The following is the reason I love country music so much, the lyrics are so well thought out. Unlike the hip hop shit you hear now where all you here is "I'm Mike Jones" or "Paul Wall". What the fuck is that? IfI can make that much money just saying "I'm Bruce Steele dawg", with horrible beats behind it, tell me how to sign up. People are sheep. Plain and Simple. This post really isnt going anywhere, but I am so bored out of my mind at work, I have decided to update this thing again. So I will now give some workout tips for people who are wanting to go to the gym but just dont have time or motivation. 1. There is always time to workout. Let's face it, your body is one thing that you CAN CONTROL. Wouldnt it feel good to walk into a restuarant or club and have all the bitches staring at you (or for bitches have all the dudes staring)? Most bitches dont care what your face looks like, they want a man with a nice body, and a man who is all sweet and sincere. So get your ass in shape, play the role of sincere sweet guy, and get that ass. After that, discard and repeat steps on new one. 2. I hear people say "I get so bored doing cardio". Let me tell you a way to "not get bored" while doing cardio. (If Amy is reading I am going to get so much heat for this...) Join a gym that has the cardio section above the weight area (most newer 2 story Lifestyles have this). Make sure there are hot chicks working out below you. Jump on a machine (preferably the Stairmaster, as it is the best) and just stare. If you dont have a two story gym, or there are no hot chicks on the workout floor, then jump on a machine that is behind a chick with a hot ass. That way the whole time you are working out, you can pretend your goal is to reach that ass. Of course you will never reach it (or maybe you will) either way, its a fun way to pass time, and a nice scenery. And now for some proper gym etiquette, for people who dont have any 1. Dont talk on you fucking Cellphone while working out. You really are not THAT FUCKING IMPORTANT. leave your cellphone in your gym locker, and on vibrate, so when I am in the lockerroom I dont have to hear your cheesy-ass Jamster ringtone. 2. Always bring a towel to the gym, and wipe down any machines after you use them. Lets face it, unless we are fucking, there is no reason for your sweat to end up on me. 3. When choosing a cardio machine during the "slower hours" of the gym, make sure you leave a "one-machine" space between you and the next person. For example...IF there are 10 treadmills, and only one or two people are on them, it is not necessary to get on one RIGHT NEXT TO somebody, especially if you dont know them. That is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves, and I feel like its an invasion of my space. I sweat REALLY BAD, so when people get on the machines next to me, I make sure to move my arms and body enough to get sweat all over them, in hopes that they will up an move, most of the time they do. 4. I have said this before, but if you are FAT, dont wear tight shit to the gym. Sure you might have lost SOME weight, but you are still FAT. It is very unattractive/disgusting, and it will not be tolerated. 5. If someone has headphones on, and doesnt make eye-contact with you, please dont go up and try to talk to them. This happens to me all the time, I get the "Hey arent you.....?, Or the "What exercises should I do to get bigger". Look, I for one dont mind giving out advice, hell I ask people for workout advice all the time. BUT, if I have my headphones on, and am not making eye contact with you, that means I am in the "zone" and preferred not to be bothered. However, if you are a hot chick and need your bra or panties adjusted, well that is a different story! Other random things: Drunk chicks annoy me! Sure they were cool when I was single, as when they are intoxicated they are much EASIER (I think thats just an excuse), but since I am in a happy relationship now, I see drunk chicks out and they are just loud, stupid, and dont know how to act. This is where you single guys come into play. Please take these drunk/intoxicated chicks back to your place and do what you got to do, so that I dont have to hear their loud annoying ass talking and laughing. If you need any tips, contact Sedrick strong at Wrestlinggod23@aol.com, he has taken many drunk chicks home, and can guide you step by step on how to properly do this. Why do people think its cool to wear Basketball/Football jersey's when they go out to restaurants or clubs? Its cool to lounge around in, or on the day of a game, but its NOT COOL to wear when you are going out with a group of friends. You look like a FANBOY CHUMP! Support your team, but not when you are trying to pick up bitches,it looks like you are 10 yrs old. Thats all I can think of for now. Random Thoughts and Rants
*Kanye West is a BITCH! *Any white person that buys his album is a BIGGER BITCH! *Florida State Seminoles Defense........Best in the country! *Miami Hurricanes long snapper and holder= Florida State's players of the game! *Buccaneers will beat the vastly overrated Minnesota Vikings....Cadillac will gain between 75-100 yds rushing, and 1 TD in his debut! *Kelly Clarkson's performance at the VMA's was one of the best ever, and she looked TREMENDOUS! *Ultimate Fighter 2 not very exciting, the heavyweights are very inexperienced, and the last fight showed that. *Speaking of Ultimate Fighter 2, I am pulling for Seth in the heavyweight division. We were actually one match away from wrestling each other in the State Tourney in high school, but I got ousted by the State Champ from Charlotte 7-5, and he then got pinned by the same guy in the finals. *Sedrick got hit by a car in Georgia, couldnt have happened to a better person. He will hopefully post the entire story soon. As far as wrestling, everything seems to be going well as this has been a busy month. Worked Erick Stevens twice a couple of weeks ago. The match in sanford for PWW was really good, and fast paced. It ended as I cleanly defeated him (well...after the Amy Love distraction/nut shot). Worked him again in a crazy ass, most GAGA falls count anywhere match ever for Sunray. Our main goal was to break the piece of shit ring that Sunray has, but unfortunately, we werent able to do that. Funny spots included Erick beating me over the head with a dozen roses, only for the roses to explode, me then no-sell him, and hit him back with the stems. I tossed him into a 8ft replica of Hogan, only to have Erick beg off the hogan statue. Up and down bleachers we went, getting hit with boxfans, purses, and anything else that was ridiculous. In the end I came out on top. Definitely a must see match, not for the "technical work", but for the hilarity. After that I wasd booked for the wwe shows in Tampa and Jacksonville. I didnt get matches but did get looks before the show. It was a good learning experience and was the second time I was there. This time I felt like I belong there. My look, body, everything about me I feel is just as Big league as those guys. The boys are all real cool and work their asses off there. After this experience, I KNOW I will be there in the next year. Speaking of the WWE, if anyone has been watching Smackdown the past few weeks, you are seeing who I think will be the next big star develop before your very eyes, that person is Ken Kennedy. They guy is good in the ring, great on the mic, but has that natural charisma that cannot be taught. He is not the biggest or best built guy in person, but he has this aura...something about him makes you want to watch. This guy will be a star. Finally, this past weekend, I worked for FIP. Friday was against Rainman, a guy who I think is great in the ring and I was looking forward to working him. Unfortunately, we were both off and we just didnt seem to click, it wasnt anyone's fault, we just were off on this night and the match definitely reflected that. He ended up winning with a handfull of tights. Saturday I was in a Tag Team Gauntlet match, teaming with the big LAduke Jakes, after beating the sh*t out of Sal Rinauro and Seth Delay for 6 minutes straight, Seth scored a flashpin on a crossbody/Missle dropkick combo from he and Sal Rinauro. That match was definitely better than the night before, and wasnt bad for what it was. It was good working for FIP, Sal and Gabe treat the boys right and have a good thing going there. I will be working for PWW next time FIP runs in OCtober, but hopefully I will be on future cards of theirs and debuting a new gimmick for them that would be totally different from Bruce Steele (who is me turned up 2 notches). I was supposed to this weekend, but we ran into short notice and werent able to get the character laid out completely. AS far as shows this upcoming month, we have the IPW Reunion on Sept 17, which is something that any Florida Wrestling fan cannot miss. For one night only, the craziest motherfuckers in indy wrestling come together in celebration of what was the greatest indy fed in the South for so long. I am involved in a four way match with Lex Lovett, Buck Q, and the coming out of retirement Mike Sullivan. This match is to crown the FINAL IPW Heavyweight champion. Onto more sad news, the devistation in New ORleans is UNREAL. It's sad to see so many people homeless because of a large storm. That city will never be repaired, it wouldnt make sense to re-build. They should fill it in, and build on top, so that it is above sea level. When its all said and done, so many lives will have been lost, so many loved ones gone.... This kind of thing really sucks and is really sad. Therefore, people like Kanye West stating Bush doesnt care about black people is so far-fetched. Hey...Kanye...Fuckhead.....The government didnt CREATE Hurricane Katrina. President Bush didnt CONTROL Hurricane Katrina and steer it to hit Louisiana. Its mother nature. You are a fucking idiot and all radio stations should boycott your shitty music (if thats what you call it). Freedom of speach is one thing, but to play the race card in a tradgedy like this...Please!!!!! You are nothing but a little fucking cunt! I would punch him in his face if I ever saw him. The Dixie chicks ( a female country group) made some derogatory remarks about the president a few years ago and their career has not been the same since. I hope the same thing happens to Kanye West. Fuck Him! Hopefully we pull out of this tradgedy and are better prepared for the next one. Current Mood: disappointed | | Thursday, August 18th, 2005 | | 11:06 am |
SHE SAID NO
Well...not really, but it would hav been funny if she did! On Sunday July 31st, I proposed to Amy out on St. Petersburg Beach. She of course said yes (who wouldn’t, look at me). Well… she didn’t exactly say yes, she thought I was ribbing her at first, even with the ring in hand. And then she started crying. I then asked, “well is that a yes?” And she said “Of course”. There you have it, if you want to know more, ask Amy. She is a female, which instinctively makes her more detail oriented. I know some of you are saying to yourself “Bruce, what are you doing, you have already been married once?” To you all I say, “Spend one day with Amy and you would see why I want to marry her. First of all, she is hot, takes care of herself well, and is the most fun person I have ever been around". We both agreed upon a tentative date, which will be October 7th 2006. We are planning the date around the 2006 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, as that is something we are both dying to attend for our honeymoon.. Bodybuilding is a sport that we both love. I would personally never do it to the extent those guys do, as it takes SO MUCH hard work, dedication, and EATING. But I have so much respect for the sport and think those guys are just amazing. Amy is really into it too. She loves the bodybuilding and the fitness aspect. So with all the seminars and meet and greets that are offered on Olympia weekend, I think we will be pretty busy. There will also be time put aside for gambling, eating at the buffets, and most importantly FORNICATING, or FUCKING if you will. The ceremony will be on St. Pete beach, with a killer reception with the theme “a Redneck Reception” to follow. Which means you don’t have to dress all up, just look decent, bring us a gift, then eat, drink beer, dance, and get f’d up. The Redneck part is because we are planning on decorating the reception hall in a trailer park type theme just to be different. Catering will be provided by Sonny’s BBQ, and there will be lots of beer! I am positive some people will be going to jail during and after this party. Amy and I are not conventional people. We are very spontaneous, and don’t like to be like “everyone else”. That is why the reception has a theme and is very informal. Formal is for Proms and Funerals. On to other things: If you haven’t heard, I have been invited to participate in a tryout for the WWE tapings in Tampa and Jacksonville. I have been busting my ass in the gym and dieting harder than ever to lean my body out, and feel I am in the best shape of my life not only physically but also mentally. A few months ago my head wasn’t in the right place, now I feel it is. Hopefully all goes well, because I feel like I BELONG there. Especially now. I have said it many times, its my calling, its what I was put on this earth to do. As far as other wrestling,, got the EWE shows this weekend, along with FPWA. Working Antonio Banks at EWE the first night in Tampa. I will have a headache after this one for sure. WE always seem to hit each other really hard. Friday I am sure will be no different. It should be fun to see for those that are NOT involved. Not sure who I am working in Tampa on Saturday, but hopefully its early on the card because I then have to head over to FPWA in Pinellas Park to work Mark Zout (A guy I trained with) on Saturday night also. The next weekend is PWW double shot on August 26th and 27th in Sanford and St. Petersburg. Working Onyx both nights it appears. I got to take my hat off to Onyx, the guy is a fucking monster. He is easily the best-built guy on the indies, possibly in all of wrestling. He could definitely give Batista and Masters a run for their money too. If he were as tall as them he would be bigger. And the guy can work. I had a good time with him last month, and its always cool to work another big man that can go. I am looking forward to that. Speaking of Big men that can go, Sunday the 28th is Sunray in Melbourne, where I will collide with Erick Stevens. This should be good, I just hope the ring isn’t the shits like it was the last show. If you are in the area of any of these shows, come check them out, as they should all be a blast. Then Monday and Tuesday are the WWE shots. So All in all it will be a busy week and a half for me coming up wrestling wise. Well that’s about all I can think of right now, I know the update was kind of long, but its been awhile. Hopefully in the future I will be able to update this thing more frequently. Oh yeah, and Sedrick Strong is the MAN!!! Dude had this HOT chick that everyone would want to bang throwing herself at him, and he pretty much no sold it. Wait…does that mean he is GAY?????? BEING PUERTO RICAN MIGHT NOT BE SO BAD????
Seriously, I am starting to re-think my stance on being Puerto Rican. In High School, I denounced my Puerto Rican heritage in favor of being White Redneckish. To give you a background, I am half Puerto Rican and half Redneck. The reason I denounced my Puerto Rican heritage is because of the way fellow Puerto Ricans at my school acted. They were too “ghetto”, and wouldn’t associate with anyone but each other. Where me, I would associate with all races, since my school was about 45% White 40%black and 15%other. Fast Forward to last Saturday. My Redneck half of the family (my deceased grandfather’s side) held a Family Reunion. I thought “This will be cool, I get to meet all my good country family folks”. Man was I in for a surprise. I rode with Amy and my mother. To get there we take I-4 towards Orlando, and Exit SR-33. From there, we are on 33 forEVER. This is country, no gas stations or anything in sight, we then turn off a back road and go another several miles before arriving to this property that had several houses and trailers. There was a HUGE tent set up with live music, food, and several port-o-potties for anyone that had to use the restroom. This….is GROVELAND, FLORIDA. Well we arrive and get out of the car, and all I see is 75 BACKWOOD family members of mine just staring at me and Amy. We OBVIOUSLY stood out like Sore Thumbs. We were city folks, and these were BACKWOODS COUNTRY FOLKS. The atmosphere is indescribable. Its like something out of a comedy. This was the type of “Family Reunion” comedians joke about where Rednecks go to find there future wives. And I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF ONE. So the fact that everyone is staring at me doesn’t hinder my fun at first. I get introduced to several people who are some sort of cousins of mine, they are all missing teeth, and appeared dirty. They were not friendly at all. Amy and I make our rounds and do not feel welcomed. We were the darkest people there. I did see a familiar face, my grandmother. She asked me how everything was, I told her “I don’t think they take to kindly to us “dark folks” here. She wasn’t amused. Fuck her! . Well we grab some food and begin to eat. After we finish up, we sit at a picnic table and chat with my mother saying how ridiculously ugly all these people are and how I cannot believe someone as good looking as me could be related to these inbreeds! Then came the nail in the coffin! As people are finishing up eating, this old dog approaches the tent where the food is. From a distance I can see that this dog is ABNORMALLY skinny. I ask one of the people there “who’s dog is that?” They reply “Thems a hunting dog”? Not wanting to interact anymore than necessary, I took that as it belongs to someone who lives on this property we are at, which is owned by someone in this backwoods redneck family. As I approach the dog I can see its ribs showing. I don’t know what breed the dog was, but it should have definitely been about 20-30 lbs heavier. The dog came right up to me. I felt bad so I took several pieces of BBQ chicken and ripped it from the bone and put it on a plate to give to the dog. As I put the plate down, the dog would not come up and eat it. I took a piece of chicken in my hand, but the dog was reluctant to eat. It appeared to me that the dog must have been scolded in the past when trying to eat. That is the only explaination I can think of for a STARVING DOG to not want to eat. Finally I get it to eat. I am furious at this point, because I LOVE animals and hate to see anything starving like that, especially a dog. If it was a Cat I would still feed it, but cats are still natural hunters, and can catch their food, where as dogs have been so domesticated, I believe they have lost most of there hunting abilities. Still being upset, I yell “Whose fucking dog is this, you motherfuckers don’t deserve to have animals. This dog is starving.” Then someone else says “It’s a hunting dog”. I said “I don’t give a FUCK what kind of dog it is, you stupid fucking rednecks need to learn how to take care of animals” At this point I was totally disgusted, I was ranting and raving about how I was embarrassed to be related to a bunch of backwoods inbred motherfuckers like them. I finally said to Amy and my mom, “lets get the fuck out of here”. Everyone is literally staring at us as we are leaving, and I am still cursing all of them out. Finally we get in the car and leave. I have not had one of these “blow ups” in awhile. This time I feel it was justified because of my love for animals. Needless to say I will not be attending anymore of these “Family Reunioins”. I had only met that side of the family when I was younger, and its obvious now I wasn’t welcomed because of my looks or because of my spanish heritage. They can all kiss my ass. I am surprised none of the stupid rednecks tried to fight me, though I would have kicked the shit out of them because of how pissed I was. So on that note…Being Puerto Rican really isnt that bad I guess. I will still listen to country music, I will still go to country bars, I will still consider myself to be sort of a Redneck, but I will now consider myself a “Puerto Rican Redneck”. Prejudice in America?
All I keep reading and hearing about is this Mohammed Hassan “Terrorist Angle”. Its all over the internet. It’s all over the news. Sure its getting the WWE exposure, but the exposure is coming across very negative. The WWE is playing off OUR VERY OWN PREJUDICE. The angle is damn near genius. I will be the first to admit, anytime I see an Arab-American, I first think “that dude is a terrorist”. It's how we as Americans have been conditioned to think. Consider this, the top news stories involve people of Middle Eastern descent. This includes the attacks in London, and Sammy Al Arian (USF teacher accused of giving money to a terrorist group). The “angle” in question was taped last Tuesday nite. (the day before the London attacks) For those of you that don’t know, it consisted of a wrestling personality, Mohammed Hassan (real name Mark Magnus, who I believe is greek) playing the part of an Arab-American. He “Attacked” the Undertaker (WWE Legend). 6 Men in mask came out and attacked Taker after Taker defeated Hassan’s manager/lackey Daivari(who is of Arab descent). The 6 masked men were all identified wrestlers, two of them being personal friends of mine (Shane Twins). Immediately, the fans began to identify the 6 masked men with a terrorist ring. If any of you have every seen Arab Americans (we all have) you know there is no such thing as a 6’3” jakked middle eastern guy. Therefore, assuming the 6 men were a terrorist ring was ludicrous. That shows the Automatic racism and prejudice of our society. Like I previously stated, the mainstream media has picked up this story. It’s being reflected in a negative light. This is just another reason for the media to turn on wrestling. Hassan’s character comes across as a very intelligent character. If it was not for the negative things Arabs have done in the past several years, he would probably be embraced by the fans, without having to change anything in his promos. Word on the street is UPN (the station that airs Smackdown) advised WWE to keep the Hassan character off the air for awhile, because of all the negative attention this angle has garnered. Censorship in this country is a joke. In this day and age where its “cool” to sing anti-american songs like “American Idiot” and “Bring your own Bombs”, its NOT cool to “entertain” fans with an Arab American character, who exploits the hardships Arab-Americans in this country go through everyday. This is the kind of thing that makes me reconsider my political standing as a Republican. I think the media needs to stop “picking and choosing” their battles. Wrestling is entertainment, like a movie. So if you are going to censor wrestling with supposed “terrorism undertones”, you must also censor shows like 24, and hell even the Evening News. I am a huge fan of this angle, and hope the WWE does not consider scrapping it. This angle is GOLD. The negative attention is just making the character stronger, and is proving everything he says in his promos about us americans to be true. This angle is proving EXACTLY how close minded society is today. The one thing that makes this country so great is FREEDOM. AS a result, if this kind of thing "offends you", instead of bitching and moaning about it, how bout putting your fat ass finger on the remote control and change the channel. I am Bruce Steele, and that is my view! Current Mood: disgusted | | Thursday, July 14th, 2005 | | 12:16 am |
ITS BEEN AWHILE
Where do I start? Nothing really important to note, so this will be just a post of me rambling to waste sometime my last hour here at work. *Congrats to Tyler (Shynerick), as he is now a married man. He married a beautiful girl whose name I fail to remember. However, best of luck to him as the two of them seem to be the perfect fit for each other. *Havent been wrestling much lately. As you may have heard, the Florida Indy scene has taken a huge hit with the loss of NWA FLorida. Out of it we have gained two upstart promotions, EWE and Pro Wrestling Warfare. Should be fun times and it means more work for all the boys, so its a good thing. *I am still contemplating my future in wrestling. I am 26 yrs old, still young, but I have to at this point choose if I want to continue a career in the field I am currently in, or go BALLS TO THE WALL and try to get a wrestling deal in the upcoming months. Its a hard thing to deal with. With the line of work I do now, I make decent money and have security of knowing my bills are going to be paid, health insurance, and I can buy whatever I need. But on the other hand, its not really what I want to do. I want to be a "Sports Entertainer". The state of the business right now is in limbo, so who knows what direction it will go. Its a decision I am going to have to make soon enough, as I am being laid off of my job October 1st, but have been recruited for similar positions in other companies. *Shout out to my boy Sedrick, keep your head up man. You got a lot going for you right now. Everything in life is going to fall into place before you know it. Keep plugging away and dont get down on yourself. You have grown up so much in the past couple of months and for that I am very proud of you. *On a sour note, Amy seems to be having some neck problems (damn blowjobs). Serioiusly, its some very scary stuff. She is going to be taking some time off from in ring action. She is working the WrestleReunion show on August 27th in Pennsylvania, against Wendy Richter, so she is letting herself heal up and will be back shortly before then in a wrestling capacity. *ECW One Night Stand DVD is great. My favorite part is the JBL commentary during the Awesome/Tanaka match. If you have the DVD you must listen to it. ITs great stuff. JBL has revolved into the perfect heel persona. I am a big fan. *There will be BIG news to come in the near future from me. I will keep everyone posted. Until then..... Current Mood: Chilled | | Thursday, June 9th, 2005 | | 1:16 pm |
I have been in REHAB
Well no, not really. But I do have an addiction, and its quite embarassing. Let me try and justify this addiction before exposing it. You seem, I work nights (though I came in early today) and usually dont get off work until sometime between 230-330am. Therefore, I am home during the day before I go to the Gym. When I wake up the first thing I do is turn on the TV to get going, and if you have ever been home during the weekday mornings, you know its all housewife television. However, I stumbled upon Maury Povich and the court television shows. I'm not talking about Court TV, I am talking about Judge Mathis, The People's Court, etc. Those things are so ridiculous, its like watching Jerry Springer. Its great. Judge Mathis loves to punk people out (Especially the white people). Its now one of my favorite shows. I cannot go to the gym in the morning until after Judge Mathis is over. I am addicted to that goddamn show! Enough of that what else is going on? Oh yeah...Props to Vordell Walker in the whole Rick Steiner incident. Rick has the "old school" mentality that people in the ring should be legit. And if you look around the indies, there arent very many legit people here. A lot of feds have guys that... well lets just say that most of the fans in attendence could kick their asses. So I am sure Rick was bitter towards the business about that, as it just exposes the business. Just looking at Vordell, you can just tell the dude is legit, and he is in tremendous shape. That's where I dont understand why Rick wanted to "test" him. Anyways many stories have come out about this thing, and most of them point to Vordell schooling him on the mat shoot style and then Rick backing down from a Face to face challenge. My hats off to Vordell Walker, he did the right and most professional thing by not killing Steiner. Peterson Cup coming up this weekend. Everyone that can attend must go. You will see some of the top indy talent around. The bonus matches are great too. I am looking forward to being in the ring with Roderick. We tagged together quite a few times but I only rememeber working against him twice. Both were good. People want to know my take on the NWA Florida going under. I dont really have an opinion. I loved working for them, but at the sametime it was not the same as its prequel- IPW. IPW was and will always be the best in my opinion. It was like a family, we had a home, we ran consistently, it was some of the best times. NWA florida never had that feel. Everyone seemed to have their own agendas. We never really had a home venue (the closest being Brandon), it just wasnt the same. It was a place to work and grow as wrestlers. It was a good time, but now we must all move on. I will tell you this, I will go out with a bang on the 17th vs Abyss, I guarantee that! Nothing else much going on. Random thoughts *The new Will Smith song is HORRIBLE! He must be a joke to the hip-hop community *I hate when I am doing cardio at the gym, and though the place is empty, someone decides to jump on the machine RIGHT NEXT to me. Its quite annoying. *I love stacker 3's. Got my hands on some w/ephedra and that is why I am so hyper today. *I hate "WTF" girls. Those are the chicks that you see that are SO FUCKING HOT, then you see their chump ass, outta shape, sloppy looking boyfriends, and you say "WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!". *I dont care about the NBA, but I really thought the HEAT was gonna win it all. *I am down to 250 lbs legit ( I still claim 275). LAst year during the Peterson Cup I was 285. I was watching a video of my match and thought my body looked extremely sloppy. I am happy where I am at right now and dont seem to have lost any muscle mass, and many think I look bigger. So the illusion of being more "defined" does in-fact work. *I hate people that can eat what they want and still be lean as hell (i.e. Bo Tayvian before Bodybuilding, and Vordell Walker). *Only 4 more months at my job, then a nice severance package. Thats it, remember come out and support the Peterson Cup this weekend. Take care Current Mood: hyper | | Friday, May 20th, 2005 | | 3:24 pm |

How do I spend so much money???
The Lit show was last nite. I had a blast. Went with Amy and saw PRetty Fly and James Morrison there, and also Jay (who is at every florida indy show taking pics). The show itself was pretty good, there were 3 opening acts, which I personally thought was too many. But I enjoyed them. There was so much goddamn HOLE there. Chicks must love Lit, because I was pleasantly suprised. I made sure I text Sedrick and let him know that he was missing out. The crowd was suprising, only about 300 (the last time they were in st.pete they drew 1700 at JAnnus Landing). The crowd was an older crowd, mostly people around my age (mid 20's). And did I mention there was BITCHES there?? The State Theater is now owned by Jannus Landing. They have remodeled it, and it looks good, complete with 3 bars now, and a mini-arcade, and most importantly an ATM machine. Very nice venue. They even remodeled the nasty ass bathrooms. The first band came on, they were called Salem's Cradle, they were good but very stiff onstage. The singer sounded a lot like Wes Scantlin(lead singer Puddle of Mudd) but he looked like a punked out Ryan Cabrera. They played for about 20 minutes. The second band, I didnt catch there names, but they seemed pissed at each other. They had a chick lead singer who was HOT and had a nice ass. She was one of those performers on stage who moved around and had a lot of charisma, it was hard to take your eyes off her, and like I said she was very easy on the eyes. The third band was from St PEte. They had a very interesting look. The guitarists was wearing a cowboy hat and looked like a Von Erich. The bassist looked like a guy you would see at the chineese buffet. The drummer looked like a dude that would wait 20 days to see the premier of star wars, and finally the Lead singer was a major metro-sexual. He looked like a cross between the lead singer of Rascal Flatts (country band) and Ryan Seacrest. He had a voice almost identical to Bret Michaels. So they were good too Then it came for Lit. Prior to them, the three other bands had no problems with the sound (i.e. no feedback, vocal levels perfect, etc) but for some reason there were alot of problems during the first 3 songs of Lit's set. The sound guy must have been jerking off or something. I do think they were trying to hide A Jay's vocals because he sounded pretty horse. But it was still a good set. From off the top of my head they played the following songs Needle and Thread Times like this Something to someone Lipstick and Bruises Zip Lock My own Worst Enemy Four Miserable and a few others I cant rememeber. They also covered a song by "The Cure", Amy told me that, because I hate the cure and had no clue what song they were playing. I was a bit disappointed that they didnt play "Addicted", thats another one of my favorites. If I had to choose, their best songs on this night were "My own worst Enemy" and "Ziplock". The sound on both were great. A Jay was drunk off his ass and the "insight" he was giving in between songs made no sense, but hey thats everyshow. If I was a "Rock Star" I would live the lifestyle too!! Overall a good show. I recommend them if they come into your area. The tickets were only 14 bucks, so you cant go wrong. Especially if you are a single guy. There was so much hole there just waiting........I thought I was gonna get out of there only spending 20 bucks on drinks, well $60 later I am starting to think that wasnt a very realistic estimate. Hope everyone stays well, and if you are in town and want to see some wrestling this weekend, the state theater has FPWA saturday nite which I am on the card for. I am wrestling for Combat Fusion that night, and after that match I will be jumping on my Private Jet and flying into Downtown St. Pete to take on MArk Zout at the state theater, same night. I GOT NOTHING
Sittin at work bored, so figured give a brief update. I will be attending the Lit concert tonite (thursday). They are playing at the State Theater in Downtown St. Pete. They are a band I have been wanting to see live for sometime, as they are easily in my top 10 of Favorite bands. I have seen them live once before, but it was an outdoor show so the acoustics werent as good as they could have been. For those of you that arent familiar, they are most known for their album of 1999 titled "A Place in the Sun". Their biggest hits were "My own worst enemy" and "Miserable" (the video where they are singing on Pamela Anderson's ASS) , which both were pretty much mainstream. They have released 2 albums since then, "atomic" and "lit", but I dont think those albums were as good as the 99' release. They are still good albums nonetheless. If you find yourself with nothing to do tommorow nite, I definitely recommend checking them out. State Theater is a very good venue for acoustics. I have seen a few shows there in the past and they were great, most notably "Stroke 9". Other than that have Combat Fusion this weeked in Savannah. Working 2 guys that I am not familiar with at all. We'll see how it goes. I am confident it will go just fine. Staying busy with the gym and work. Doing these 2 a days at the gym, and eating cleaner than ever is really taking a toll on me. What I wouldnt give for a double cheeseburger. But I am focused on a goal. For motivation I hung up a picture of me shirtless from when I was 235lbs from October 2003 and one that was taken the other day, where I am 255 lbs. I am a lot leaner now, 20lbs heavier than i was then. Its very motivating to look at those pictures and see the difference. Its night and day. I will NEVER let my body get like that again. Even though I was 20 lbs lighter like I previously said, I looked like shit. This is where I want to be, just want to tighten up.. my goal is Peterson Cup. Sedrick, I am listening to what should be your new entrance music. The song is called "Alcohol" by Brad Paisley (its country). I will post the lyrics on here later. But it definitely fits you and your nightly "escapades" perfectly. Current Mood: pleased | | Monday, May 16th, 2005 | | 1:21 am |
IS IT THAT TIME ALREADY????
What time is it???? THE FUCK IF I KNOW NOR DO I CARE! Nothing much going on in the usual eventful life of one Bruce Steele. Guess I am getting old. I am 26 and sometimes feel 40. I really hope this trend doesnt continue. I mean, it has its benefits. I dont go out and party anymore as I prefer spending the night with the lovely lady in my life at home instead. I guess I have outgrown the Club/Bar Scene, at least for now. I used to go everyweek and cause hell. I wasnt so much into the getting drunk part though. I never wanted to be at a disadvantage when somebody "tried" me, so I let those drunk fuckers run their mouths and I would either a)Beat the hell outta them or b) choke them out. Its that easy folks. However since I have been with Amy I have become a little more easygoing, and let more things slide. I think its for the better too, as sooner or later that "there's someone out there badder than you are" guy was going to come around, and probably give me the beating of my life..... ......Sort of like that time Saturday nite Ronald "Winky" Wright beat the shit out of Felix "Tito" Trinidad. (see what I did there.. thats called a SMOOTH TRANSITION). I was sure Winky would pull that one out.. But I was thinking more along the lines of 8 rounds to 4 in my pre-match prediction. However, he won every round on one scorecard and 11 of 12 rounds on the other two. Winky is a badass and did ST. PETERSBURG proud. I am part Puerto Rican, so you think I would have a soft spot for Trinidad???? But HELL NO! I must inform you that the last time I attended the Florida Blood Drive I donated all my Puerto Rican Blood in exchange for a FREE T-SHIRT and CHEESEBURGER. Therefore, I am now a full fledged member of the WHITE FOLK, or REDNECK if you will. (another smooth transition motherfuckers) Speaking of RedNecks....Pinellas Park SuperWalmart must be the EPICENTER OF REDNECK-ISM. Went there last nite (saturday) with Amy to do a little grocery shopping to save a little money, and let me tell you, it is a sight to behold. The parking lot was damn near full at 10pm and the folks are.. let's just say.. COUNTRY. I dont have any good stories besides the fact that I keep ripping ass, and walking away from Amy so that the people around her would think she did it. (For those of you that dont know, Amy cant smell, she lost her sense of smell while training to wrestle after she broke her nose 2 times in a week and it has never come back). Thats why the Rib was so funny to me. I rip ass, I walk away, people come into the aisle and only see Amy, they think she did it, and she is the whole time oblivious to what is going on. How great is that?? Amy I still love you! Friday nite was at casa de la Rod Steel(e). Drank a few, and watched several of our matches on tape from the last weekend. Overall decent stuff, few things we could have done better, and we will adjust those things, but overall good. New Gear looked good on tape. Man do I hate dieting. I must admit I cannot resist the temptation of Cheeseburgers and General Tso Chicken. Wave it in front of me and I am like a little dog. I cannot turn it down. Those are the best foods ever! Of course that means I have had both this weekend. So my day of "cheating" on my diet has turned into a "weekend of cheating". I will be back on track by Monday. My goal for the last 3 months was to have a "6 pack" abs by Peterson. Well I have four weeks and really am not that far off. I can see them wanting to come out, but at the sametime they are wanting double cheeseburgers. Well, sacrafice is a motherfucker, so I gotta suck it up and fend off temptation. *For the fans of Reality TV out there, you must watch Real World/ Road Rules Inferno II. That is just good shit. I love Real World and Road Rules, and I love the challenges even more. This past one with Abe/Brad was the shit. It was like American Gladiators POWERBALL. That shit was intense and actually had me on the edge of my seat almost screaming at the TV. Even though I am a Heel in life, I am a huge mark for the "Good Guys" team. My favorite is/was Brad. He is just a cool motherfucker who says it like it is. I recommend checking it out on any re-runs if you missed this weeks episode. The ABE/BRAD Inferno is as intense as any of them have been. *Forgot to mention something in the works by the World Wrestling NEtwork (owned by Sal Hamoudi and parent company of FIP) of some of the worst matches in the history of independent wrestling. Many matches from Shit shows in the bay area. The production is still being done, and is sort of in the works. I had a sneak peek at some of the matches and commentary from "Neal and Bob" (commentators with Paper Bags over their Heads) and the shit is HILARIOIUS. I REALLY hope Sal intends on this being a national release and not just local, because this is some of the worst/funniest shit ever. I feel this thing could sell huge! Like Steve Madison once said "Bad Wrestling is just as fun to watch as great wrestling". I am a firm believer in this now after attending and partaking in some really shitty shows and seeing the other matches on the show(i.e. any Rouge match). Rouge matches are as entertaining to me as anything Benoit, Angle, or the Rock has ever done. Because just when you think it cant get any worse.......IT DOES! (double stomp thru the "unbreakable table"....TWICE). If someone has that show on tape please get me a copy.. First off because I really enjoyed the debut of Christopher Ashley Favata, and second of all because I want to see the "Last man Standing" Match w/Rouge and that other guy again. Thats it for now..... Keep reading and jerking off... preferably in that order... but dont think about me while doing so, unless you are a hot female with massive tits, small hips, and a tight round ass, of course that would be "dialing the pink telephone"..... Another weekend in the books!
Anyone that read my previous entry last week talking about the UHURU’s and what a bunch of fucking idiots they are.. here is a story to reference that http://www.baynews9.com/content/36/2005/5/9/80797.htmlThis weekend was probably the most fun I’ve had while doing a double shot. The Friday show was a very good atmosphere, and was a lot of fun. The venue was nice and the crowd was good too. I like the whole setup at the Sanford Civic center and look forward to wrestling there again in June. Also looking forward to seeing Amy and Traci Brooks in the same ring. They have worked before, but it was for the slamminladies.com website. IT was really good too. I wish I could be ringside for this one (for the more obvious reasons of course). The Saturday show was CRAZY. The crowd was old school, so they were completely easy to work. It was Rod and Myself along with Ron against the Market Crashers. We were BABYFACES…Yes that’s right folks, and the crowd actually loved us. Hopefully there was somebody there that could review the show because being over as babyfaces was the most hilarious thing to me ever. I believe the line of the night was by Ron Niemi. We were in the ring, and the crowd was calling me BS(because that’s what it says on my gear) and they called Rod RS. So I had them chanting BS, and Ron decides to tell the kids to shut up. I turn to him and say “Hey, you cant tell that kid to shut up, we are good guys”. Ron then apologizes to the kid and told him he was talking to the guy behind him. Classic stuff there. Good old school match coming with a DQ at the end as I had Machete tapping. Other highlights of the bout include Ron on the outside doing the Bushwacker walk getting the crowd pumped up, the RS and BS chants, and the wrestling itself. I had so much fun that match, it was easy and the crowd was into it. But that’s not the end of it!!! At the end of the night after the main event, we had to do a run-in to run off the market crashers. So I decide it would be funny to do this run-in with just my boxer briefs, kneepads, and one sock on. I come out like that, and the crowd ate it up. We cleared the ring and everyone left me alone in the middle of the ring in my underwear. So I made the crowd start an “Underpants” chant, and told everyone to strip down to their underwear. This is where the fun begins.. Rod decides to come in the ring with me, and strip to his underwear, followed by OG, Sedrick and finally James Hendrix. So at the end of the show we look like a bunch of homos in the ring , it was ridiculously over though. So then they clear the ring and I am alone again, so I climb out and tell the crowd I want to dance. So Kubiak plays “tootsie roll” and I first give the two Hooters girls that were there a lapdance. Amy was mad so I came over and gave her one too. Then Naphtali asked for one, the crowd egged me on, so I let him in on the fun. Made a few extra dollars, and stole Trent Acid’s gimmick. Tremendous. The most Bizarre ending to a wrestling show ever. I had a blast overall, and got to see some up and coming talent. Scott Commodity and Preston James impressed me, they are a good looking tag team who can use their looks to get over as babies or heat as heels. They are fluid in the ring, and I wouldn’t mind seeing them in NWA florida in the future. The Crashers are a very good and smart tag team as well. They know psychology and were such good heels against us they made it possible for us to be over as babies. Rip Malibu is another kid that has a good look and gimmick. I like the whole surfer deal, as really nobody uses that gimmick, and he definitely looks the part. From what I heard he is still in high school, so he has all the time in the world to develop even more and have a bright future. There were also many of the NWA Florida regulars there.. Josh Rich, Hendrix, Sedrick, and Erick Stevens, Chasyn, Johnny and Tommy Vandal. Went to Hooters afterwards for free food and bad service. What a night Other random thoughts *What is up with this trend of little girls ending up dead. There were two 8 yr olds that were found dead today in Illinois. This world is fucked up. *The Bucs signed Ike Hillard from the NY Giants. Good move….5 yrs ago. His day is pretty much over and he will never be as productive as he once was. I would rather them have went after the 4th receiver on the Giants, Tim Carter. He is one of the fastest guys in the league, though he has been hit by many injuries, he is still only 25 and can be very productive, and most importantly I was his Center in highschool. Yep I saved his ass from getting killed MANY times, so now he makes the big bucks in the NFL. Where’s my kickback bitch? Hope all you motherfuckers are doing good. Current Mood: blah |
